d3 s are considered junior colleges some juniorcollegeteams are goood enough for d1 just the players arent acedemically eligible for d1 major universitys so after 2 yrs. the transfer out to a big d1 program

they play in local ymca's and rec centers around the country, cause most d3 players are not recruited, only 12 percent of d1 players play after college. its tough to get another gig when playin d3
the really good ones MAY go to the NBA or europe or the CBA, bust most of them play pick up games at 24 hr fitness on saturdays with their friends
Most of them enter the "real world". I'm not sure any D3 player has ever made it to the pros.
