the pac-10 has the most balanced teams, all being able to compete with any school

the acc has two teams,as you know

and the big east has like 20 schools so thats why they get accredited alot for being the hardest conference

I say the Big East. Yes, they have a ridiculous number of teams in the conference, and that does make it hard to compare. But, the Big East had the most teams ranked in the top 25 and the most in the NCAA tournament.

The ACC is a 2-team conference, and one of those teams is on the decline. Perhaps ACC / Duke fans forget that they got knocked out of the tournament by one Big East team this year and lost to another one on a neutral court earlier in the season? Look at it another way... Pitt had to win 3 straight games against ranked opponents to win the Big East tournament. UNC had to beat, let's see... none to win the ACC tournament.

Admittedly, the Big East currently lacks that one dominant team that can consistently be ranked in the top 5 in the country, but no conference can compare in terms of the number of very good, ranked, NCAA-tournament caliber teams. Plus, the conference is full of teams with great basketball tradition. That doesn't mean that all those teams are going to be good every year, but you can get that a bunch of them will be.
It was the ACC, but now going off the most top 25 ranked teams, I have to say the SEC. Just going purely off of excitement factor... is there anything more defining than UNC/Duke in the ACC tournament? Seriously, that's awesome.
Top to bottom, nobody can compare to the ACC. Have you noticed we never lose these interconference challnges? The Big East refuses to do it anymore because the y could never win!
Big East. Consistently most teams in the Tourney. Have great recruiting teams ala George Town (they just got hte best player i teh country Greg Monroe).

Just a tough schedule with tough rough teams top to bottom.
